JC has worked in Social Work in various capacities since 2015 when he began working for the Florida Department of Children & Families as an Abuse Counselor. He worked primarily with adolescents until he arrived here on the most Tranquil of Shores in 2022. JC is incredibly grateful for this opportunity to enhance his personal recovery while continuing to grow professionally. He is a native Floridian and a graduate of Florida State University (Go Noles!). In his spare time, JC is an avid musician with a strong background in musical theatre, and he currently sings regularly with the First Unity Voices. He lives his life by the Maya Angelou quote: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
