Bio

Sarah is a small town southern girl who found a love for music as a toddler and performed on stage for most of her life. But all of that changed when she made the move to a big city, in her early twenties, so she could chase her dream of being a “Big Wig” at a large corporation. After taking a promotion in 2013, she moved to Pinellas County and shortly after she fell in love with recovery. Her journey and passion for living a new way of life had only just begun. She traveled the USA with friends that were on the same journey as herself and she began to think that working in treatment was what she really desired to do. She wanted to be able to help each sick and suffering alcoholic and addict that crossed her path. After being in the corporate business world for nearly a decade she took a leap of faith and joined the Tranquil Shores family. Since she has been with TS she has worn many hats, but the most recent was when she took the Supervisor position at the Residential Property. This is her favorite “hat” to wear so far. She stated that she “thoroughly enjoys guiding the clients in day to day living and being able to help them see that there is a better way of living and this is just the start. This is the moment where they get to reclaim their life.”

    - Former Patient

The people cared about me and the people took me under their wing. They not only saved my life, but they saved my brothers and in a way my sons.

    - Bryan F.

We found at Tranquil Shores people who were totally dedicated to treating and healing the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They replaced despair and brokenness with confidence and joy, shame with acceptance and grace, most of all sadn

    - Former Family Member of Patient

I had this act going like I was this great student and daughter and I was absolutely dying inside. Luckily I was blessed with amazing parents that talked to Chad Johnson and they figured out a way to get me to Tranquil Shores. I started doing what I was to
