Alumni Meeting October

Alumni Meeting – Monday, October 6th at 7:00 pm

  1. Distributed minutes from the September meeting & reviewed Calendar of Events.
  2. Alumni Tranquil Shores contact list and signed releases
  3. “As Bill See It” meeting – scheduled October and November
    1. A reminder to Alumni that current clients run the meeting in their format for continuity at community meetings.
    2. Clients will decide on minute format for the speaker meeting.
  4. Workshop Series – Alumni are asked to send suggestions for workshop topics to alumni@tranquilshores.org
  5. Art of recovery will continue to eliminate check in time in order for workshop to end on time.
  6. Alumni In Action Newsletter – Deadline for submissions was extended until Oct. 10th
  7. Alumni Reunion – Holiday Inn Harbourside Hotel
    1. Alumni will be in charge of making schedule and organizing activities for Saturday before Alumni reunion.
  8. Discussed New Alumni Getting Involved in the Alumni Program
  9. Alumni Program Chairperson – Discussed Responsibilities & Assigned Roles
  10. Alumni Community Event – will be for everyone to go bowling.
  11. New Business
    1. Tim L. presented an idea for a new “High Performance” meeting with alumni. It would be a topic driven, closed alumni meeting that could be “12 step based and beyond”
  12. Upcoming Events
    1. Thanksgiving day – Turkey dinner provided at Property for alumni and clients
    2. Dates TBD for Christmas Caroling
    3. Anniversary – Jill O. on 10/26
  13. Next Alumni Meeting – November 3rd at 7:00pm
