Alumni Meeting Minutes – Monday, August 1st, 2016

  1. Introduction and Alumni Check in
    1. Attendees: Tricia L, Joleen S, Michelle P, Amy F, Greg H, Kate K, Tom K, Jamey K, Bret A
  2. Distributed and reviewed minutes, agenda, and calendar of events from July meeting
    1. Tricia provided foundation updates and details on Jimmy Johnson Fundraiser.
    2. Talked about guild lines for attending alumni events
  3. As Bill Sees It Meeting – Upcoming Speakers
    Note: Must have 90 days minimum sobriety to attend ABSI meeting.
    1. August 21st – Whitney S
    2. September 18th – Janet H
    3. October 16th – Bruce D
    4. November 20th – Joleen S
  4. Art of Recovery (2nd) and Open Discussion (3rd Wed.) each month. Alumni outings will take place quarterly on the 4rd Wed. of the month.
    1. Must have 30 days of continuous sobriety to attend alumni activities.
    2. In the event the Alumni meeting being pushed to the 2nd Monday of the month due to holiday, Art of Recovery will still be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
    3. Alumni Outing – Wednesday Sept. 7th at the Tampa Art Museum. Must RSVP 2 weeks prior to Event.
  5. Alternative Healing – Every Tuesday at 10:10 am- 11:30 am

  6. Upcoming events
    1. September 28th, 2016 at 6:30pm – Possible Game night with dinner provided. Tabled until September alumni meeting.
    2. Yoga for recovery – 1st Friday of every month – 6:30 pm – Tree of life Yoga
  7. Next Alumni Meeting: Monday, September 12th, 2016, 7:00pm
    (No meeting September 5th due to Labor day)
